V&A

THIS IS A MUST SEE!! ❤

(Dansk version nederst)

Just got back from a short faboulous wedding trip to London! Besides celebrating my friend and his wife, my girlfriend and I had a few days for marathon shopping and a visit to one of Londons most amazing museums!

Last time I was in London was in August last year, where I joined an interior design course at Saint Martins College of Art! I was absolutely focused and totally exhausted everyday after class, so I didn’t see anything but the bus and Sainsbury Local, so this time I was busy! 🙂 Here is what crossed my lens at Victoria & Albert… all of it inspires me interiorwise, hope it inspires you too 🙂

This museum is really amazing… we went to see a special exhibition about the history of wedding dresses, I guess we was trapped in the whole wedding thing after Fridays party… But besides special exhibitions, V&A offers a bunch of other cool fashion, design, art and architecture stuff from every single corner of the world! And what they also have is a stunning colorpallet!

Here are some of my favorites! It wouldn’t surprise me if Ill grab a can of purple painting VERY SOON!

Another exhibition that left a huge impression on me was Obedient Objects! The first exhibition is to examine the powerful role of objects in movements for social change. It demonstrates how political activism drives a wealth of design ingenuity and collective creativity that defy standard definitions of art and design.

I am totally in love with the poster saying DESIGNER STAY AWAY FROM CORPORATIONS THAT WANT YOU TO LIE FOR THEM… Have to find out where to get a “copy” 😉

Hej Danmark 🙂

ITS WORTH A VISIT!!

Ill soon show you decorations from the streets of London that really rocks … stay tuned 🙂

Industrial hot spot!

(Dansk version nederst)

This place has everything! When I went there I felt like taking a break – it made me JUST BE AND ENJOY!

Matadero is a former slaughterhouse in Madrid, which has been converted to an arts centre. The buildings are massive, raw and beautiful and the place offers a range of activities, cafes, restaurants, hang out spots and of cause CREATIVITY! Its a dynamic place where everything is in constantly change – you can’t resist being inspired and feel alive!

ZONA UNO, CAFE… eyecandy for industrial design addicts!

LIBRARY… this really invites me to read even heavy and dusty books! 😉

ART installation… very political, very cool!

HAPPY MONDAY!

Hidden spot in Copenhagen!

(Dansk version nederst)

Its late and Copenhagen is sweating its pans off like never before … at least it feels like that! I just went on a photo tour in my library and I found these photos from a hidden spot in Copenhagen! I went on a spontaneous ride with my friend a couple of weeks ago and she wanted to go to Nordhavn! Nordhavn is a developing area, and I guess in time it will probably attract the rich´ yes! BUT I had never dreamed of this small fishing village that hides out here!!! We parked the car and went for a walk and I felt like we were entering another world or walked back in time! OMG it was so cool! The small houses were built of everything that fit, the atmosphere was calm, the time stood still and the view was simply beautiful! Just next to the fishing village we found this really cool industrial area where people has built the coolest houses, trailers etc… if you ever get the change, go for a walk and get inspired, this is a place of the coolest creativity!

GOODNIGHT EVERYBODY!
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY TOMORROW 🙂

Details rocks!

(Dansk version nederst)

Next time you go to Berlin, do yourself a favor and visit THE 25 hours Hotel Bikini Berlin – its real eye candy for an interior design enthusiast! And besides, you can enjoy a fab meal or a drink in the restaurant and bar on the top floor with a 360° rooftop terrace and a stunning view of the city.

I want not only to recommend you to pay this site a visit but also to show you how small details make the entire difference – I really love the details made in these rooms!

Check out the reception! ´Bring in the nature`really rocks in here … and the mix of colors makes me wanna jump into the couch, I feel welcome! Do you? 🙂

… and the rooms, I love that they aint just minimalistic and clean but more challenging build in levels, mix of materials and colors, plants, hammocks and not least the rough wooden ceiling and of cause (I can’t neglect) the copper wall! How do you like it, worth a visit? When I show you the view Im sure you can’t resist 🙂

Here it comes… who wouldn’t enjoy an ice cold drink with this view!! STUNNING!

SEE YOU IN BERLIN?? 🙂
Happy weekend everybody!!

Bare se receptionen – `Bring naturen i spil`!!
