#1 GET INSPIRED BY THE WORLDWIDE ACE!

READY FOR TAKE OFF!!!! FIRST DESTINATION IS THE BIG APPLE!!:)

Today Ill give you a tour at the ACE-Hotel in New York, midtown Manhattan, and pin out all the fab details that might inspire you in your own home-decor-projects!

This unique hotel offers everything from bunk beds to loft suites and I promise you, you won’t be disappointed – all the rooms are decorated to minor details and all of them has their own piece of artwork – may be a painting, a print, textile you name it! BUT if you are into french romance don’t choose ACE – its casual, its modern, its cool and classic!

How about a night in here!??

I´ve picked four ways to transform your wall inspired by ACE – GO for your favorite textile (this one is an artwork by Ryder Robinson), but it could be any kind of awesome textile – or optional make a print on a piece of full colored textile hang it on your wall – maybe from the ceiling by industrial wires!

Another option is to do your own artwork – make a collection (place them close together or overlap) of any kind of poster, record covers – anything goes! Paint directly on the wall or hire a graffiti painter OR let your kids play🙂 Personally I get really inspired by street art! A good idea is to keep huge artwork to one place (one wall) and let it shine in the room – if you scatter prints, posters or artpieces around the room it might look messy – make a decorative sample!

The furnitures at ACE Hotel are a mix of classic design and vintage – all of them perfectly compliment each other and add a casual but cozy atmosphere! Rule number ONE – mix old and new, mix materials (leather, steel, textile, wood etc.), but be careful with the colors! Go for colors that compliment each other – it adds a more relaxed atmosphere where you actually feel at home – a no go is to go all in on the same material, tight and clean, and no colors!

I wanna go RIGHT NOW – HOW ABOUT YOU???? …..
